Klateng ini adalah sebuah tempat peribatan masyarakat china yang di bangun pada tahun 1861 dan kemudian direnovasi oleh Myor lee say setelah terjadi kebakaran tahun 1897. Hingga sekarang tempat ini menjadi tempat menarik bagi wisatawan karena arsitektur dan ornamennya yang menarik. kuil ini terletak ditengan-tengan kota yang menjadi daerah pecina yang terkenal dikota padang.
Kwan Im Pagoda
Pagoda is the name commonly used to refer to temples or places of worship and religious activities of chinese society and the adherents of the three responsibilities (buddhist,taoist and confucian ). kwan im temple is one of the heritages which tourists can find in the old town of padang, precisely in kampung pondok village. it also has a large yard,where there is an overgrown yard lotus plant and hiolo guarded by a pair of dragon in the middle of it.
